OutDaughtered star Danielle Busby is closer to getting the kitchen of her dreams. However, with a family of 8, she and her husband Adam Busby had to figure out creative ways to keep food on the table. But where exactly are the Busbys preparing these meals? Here’s a little inside glimpse of how Danielle is keeping her six daughters well feed while waiting for the kitchen remodel to be completed.
OutDaughtered: Danielle Busby Creates Makeshift Outdoor Kitchen and Dining Space
OutDaughtered star Danielle Busby is ready for her new kitchen to be completed. Until then she and Adam made the best of a chaotic situation. They turned their backyard into a makeshift kitchen. Additionally, they also set up a large picnic style table to be their dining room table until they are once again able to cook and dine inside.
The OutDaughtered family has its kitchen basics scattered throughout their yard. Under the patio, they have a table set up with their microwave. Then their fridge is on the other side of the pool under a cabana. Danielle has been using the burner on her bbq grill to boil water for the girls’ macaroni. However, what she is super excited about is the addition of an outdoor sink. Thanks to friends who installed the sink this weekend, Danielle no longer needs to wash dishes in the bathtub.

A glimpse into my summer reality 😬I never thought I’d love washing dishes outside until I had to wash them in the bathtub. Kitchen remodel is slowly coming to an end…I can kinda see the end of this project 🤪 Thankful for my friends Brittani & Josh @grandslamplumbing.lctx who came over to install a temp outdoor sink for us! #itsabuzzworld #kitchenremodel #outdoorliving #temporarykitchen
Not The First Rodeo For The Busbys
OutDaughtered stars Adam Busby and his wife Danielle are no strangers to home renovations. Afterall they dealt with that in their previous home. That renovation was to remediate mold. So when they moved out for the work to be done, that’s when they moved into their current home. They fell in love with the huge yard and larger space of their temporary home so they made it permanent. Now they realize as their girls get older, they need more storage space. Plus, the home needs Danielle’s modern touches and finishes.
When all is said and done, the new OutDaughtered house will have a higher functioning kitchen. The island woodwork and tile will also be echoed on their fireplace and mantle in the adjacent living room. And let’s not forget the upgrade the mudroom is getting. They’ll be cubbies for all six daughters —-just in time for the start of the next school year.
OutDaughtered: New Episodes Being Filmed
OutDaughtered fans were disappointed the last season was only four episodes. The Coronavirus sadly shut down production. In fact, Danielle and Adam Busby self-filmed the last episode. Since COVID restrictions have been lifted, TLC production crews have returned to the Busby home. You can see the cameras in many of the pictures Adam shares on social media. So its likely new episodes will soon return to the TLC schedule either as a new season or a continuation of the shortened season that just aired.
