Sister Wives star Kody Brown has been dubbed by many as the main villain of the show. Apparently, fans don’t like how Kody treated his wives over the past seasons and acted like he’s an innocent victim. Kody was 41 when TLC debuted their reality show, Sister Wives. However, Kody’s background remains a mystery to many. There’s not a lot of information regarding Kody’s past. Sister Wives: Kody Brown’s Journey To Polygamy
Sister Wives star Kody Brown was born on January 17, 1969. Kody’s parents were not polygamists when he was still young. However, when Kody became a teenager, his father decided to marry another woman. This gave Kody an idea about polygamous life. When Kody met Meri Brown, she’s part of the Fundamental Mormon church. Apparently, the church allows and encourages the practice of polygamy. Kody proposed to Meri in just two months of dating.
Several years later, Kody married Meri’s sister-in-law, Janelle Brown, where things also got awkward and complicated. Apparently, Kody and his two wives kept their polygamy a secret. At one point, Kody claimed that Meri and Janelle were his sisters to hide their practice of polygamy. A year after his marriage with Janelle, Kody proposed to Christine Brown. After that, things got more complicated inside the plural family when Kody divorced Meri just to legally marry Robyn Brown, who’s now often dubbed as his favorite wife.
Things Went South For Kody & His Wives
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has been showing signs of frustration throughout their recent season. Apparently, Kody can’t seem to get his wives on the same page. It’s also believed that jealousy became one of their biggest issues. Fans also think that Kody is being unfair to some of his wives while keeping Robyn Brown satisfied and happy. Meanwhile, fans think that Kody didn’t expect that they would struggle so much. Fans are also curious if the family will move back to Utah due to their never-ending problems in Flagstaff.
Sister Wives: What Is Kody’s Job?
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has been silent about his job throughout the years. Apparently, Kody used to work in internet ad sales. However, reports claimed that he was actually a salesperson in a sign shop. At this point, Kody has yet to share his other ways of earning extra income aside from their reality show. Meanwhile, Meri Brown appears to be one of the busiest wives of Kody. She’s currently running her own bed and breakfast business in Utah as well as an online clothes shop.
