President Trump could lose his access to Twitter on or around Inauguration Day. President-elect Joe Biden and his team are making plans for the big day. As for Donald Trump, he has not conceded to the 2020 election. Also, he has not shared his plans to attend the Inauguration of 46th President Joe Biden.
However, he could find himself banned from Twitter after the Inauguration. Entertainment Chronicle previously reported that Trump will have to give up his POTUS Twitter account handle. Biden may have a fight on his hands. Trump warned that he won’t leave the White House peacefully.
The 45th president still thinks the November 3 election was “stolen” from him.
Twitter could ban President Trump around the inauguration
According to a new report via Mass Live, Twitter could ban President Donald Trump after the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. A Twitter spokesperson confirmed the news in an interview with Forbes on Thursday, December 3. Since Trump is the president, he’s allowed to remain on the social media platform under Twitter’s World Leaders policy. But he could find himself banned if he doesn’t follow the policy.
“However, if a Tweet from a world leader does violate the Twitter Rules but there is a clear public interest value to keeping the Tweet on the service, we may place it behind a notice that provides context about the violation and allows people to click through should they wish to see the content,” according to the policy that was first announced by the company in June 2029.
The change also applies to Trump’s personal Twitter handle @realDonaldTrump. As of Thursday night, the president’s Twitter account has eight labeled misleading tweets. Official government accounts of the executive branch, including @FLOTUS, @POTUS, and @WhiteHouse will transfer over to the new Biden administration on January 20, 2021.

Despite his claims, Biden’s victory is only the fourth time an elected president lost re-election in the past century.
Trump considering 2024 campaign kickoff on Inauguration Day
Donald Trump may be too busy to tweet. Or, maybe not. He tweets regardless of his plans. The president is not planning to attend his victor’s inauguration or even concede. Instead, he could hold his own campaign kickoff on January 20, according to sources familiar with the talks.
NBC News reported that Trump won’t attend the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, according to the outlet’s sources. He also has no plans to invite Biden to the White House or call him. He’s more focused on launching the 2024 presidential campaign on Inauguration Day because that’s when he re-filed for re-election back in 2017. Trump reportedly told his advisers he wants to announce his 2024 campaign shortly after the Electoral meets on December 14.
