Noah Cyrus apologized for making a racially insensitive comment on Instagram. The “I Got So High That I Saw Jesus” singer recently defended Harry Styles. The former One Direction star graced the cover of Vogue magazine in a dress. Miley Cyrus’s sister went off after conservative commentator Candace Owens called the spread “perverted.”
Noah took a shot at Candace but made a racially insensitive comment for which she has now apologized for.
What did the “July” singer say?
Noah Cyrus took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of Harry Styles along with the caption: “he wears this dress better than any of you nappy a** heauxz.” However, the comment has racist undertones, especially if it was directed towards Candace, who is a Black woman. Candace slammed Noah for making the racist remark.
“Any one of woke liberals care to explain to me how @noahcyrus calling me a ‘nappy a** hoe” is not racist?” she tweeted. “I’m all ears. You guys love cancel culture. @MileyCyrus come get your sister!”
Noah acknowledged her mistake. She admitted the comment was racist, but she did not know the context of the phrase.
“I am mortified that I used a term without knowing the context and history, but I know now and I am horrified and truly sorry,” Noah wrote in her Instagram Story. “I will never use it again. Thank you for educating me.”

I’m all ears.

Harry simply responded to Candace’s remarks by sharing a new photo of himself in a baby blue suit and white flowy blouse while eating a banana. In the caption, he joked: “Bring back manly men.”
Noah Cyrus removes Instagram Story
Candace has no issue with Harry’s latest Instagram photo. She claims that she has now started a “global conversation” about his photoshoot.
“When people try to tell me I don’t have influence, and then @HarryStyle dedicates an entire post to my tweet,” she wrote. “I inspire global conversation. #BringBackManlyMen Shots fired.”
It all started when Candace previously shared a photo of Harry with her controversial statement.
“Women who objectify themselves by spreading their legs for the world are lauded as courageous. Men in ballgowns & little girl’s clothing are lauded as icons. Hollywood is no longer about diversity, it’s about perversity. I speak for people who do not worship perversity.”
Since then, Candace retweeted messages from those who disagree with her political stance but support her in regards to the “nappy head” issue. Noah Cyrus removed the photo and statement from her Instagram Story. Instead, she took to Instagram Stories to share that she’s been eating a lot of ice cream. Noah received her favorite flavor from Jen’s ice cream as part of her Grammy’s nomination.
