90 Day Fiance stars Russ and Paola Mayfield recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in Key West, Florida. The couple posted a photo of them alongside their son, Axel and he has grown a lot.
Paola once revealed that she had a miscarriage in the past. The couple was also expecting Axel to be a Christmas baby but he waited until the new year rolled around instead.
There was once a time where Paola didn’t want anyone to hold baby Axel. She even gave limited time to Russ’s mother. Now, little Axel isn’t so little anymore. He’s almost unrecognizable in the recent social media post by Russ.

90 Day Fiance: Axel Grows Up Fast
In a social media post, 90 Day Fiance star Russ Mayfield shares a photo of him with his son, Axel Mayfield. According to Russ, he was caught red-handed eating their afternoon snacks.
Axel seemed to enjoy the strawberries that his father was eating. This little guy’s growth is very noticeable in the photo. He’s only a year old and he seems to grow bigger and bigger each day. Baby Axel has naturally blonde hair similar to his father, which is why fans often call him Russ’s mini-me.
Paola Ditches Son’s Adorable Mohawk
Axel had a mohawk hairstyle during his infant days. However, Paola Mayfield shaved his hair off. She followed one of her culture’s traditions by doing this.
Paola is a Colombian native and according to her, shaving Axel’s hair will make it grow thicker. Now, Axel is rocking long and thick hair, seemingly justifying his mother’s beliefs.
Axel’s first birthday was celebrated on January 3. In a YouTube post, Paola explained that Axel wasn’t feeling well which is why they celebrated a little late.

90 Day Fiance: Paola Seemingly Records Her Own Song – Russ Gets His Own Ink
In a social media post, 90 Day Fiance star Paola Mayfield shares a video of her inside a recording studio. At this point in time, Paola has yet to reveal the song she recorded.
Russ Mayfield was also there in the recording studio showing his support to his wife.
Russ has always been a supportive husband to Paola. He recently got a tattoo as well, right after Paola’s new tats. It’s no secret that Paola has tattoos, each with its own specific meaning.
Now, Russ reveals that his eagle tattoo with both the American and the Colombian flags carries meaning for him as well. It has to do with his family and leadership.
