WWE Friday Night Smackdown: The Good, The Bad, And The Oh – So Ugly

The WWE Friday Night Smackdown match between Sheamus and Apollo Crews was pretty much dead as interest wasn’t there from the WWE fans. The crowd wasn’t really into it and it ended quickly with Sheamus winning with a brogue kick. But Smackdown moved along with the good moves, the bad moves, and of course… the downright ugly moves.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown – Beyond the Ring

There was a confrontation between Shorty G and Apollo before Apollo went to the WWE Smackdown ring. During that time Apollo let his friend know that he didn’t want his help. This could be a set up for a possible heel turn.

Backstage at the WWE Smackdown Drew Guilak was approached by Drake Maverick and Drake asked for a chance. Drew told him he wasn’t ready. Daniel came in and told Drew that he’d be in Philadelphia. He then issued a challenge for a match.

Smackdown – Ladies In Great Form Then On To Main Event Shocker

Up next – Carmella and Dana Brooke took on Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville on Friday Night Smackdown. This match was decent even though the fans weren’t really into it.

All four ladies were great in the match. Sonya and Mandy got the win with the help of Dolph Ziggler who had accompanied them to ringside.

The main event is a WWE Smackdown six-team gauntlet to determine which team will enter the elimination chamber match last. The first two teams to enter are New Day and Heavy Machinery.

The two teams put on a great match, however, the New Day was shockingly eliminated first after the Trash Compactor. Out next was the Lucha House Party.

WWE Smackdown Picks Up Speed

Then the WWE action picked up speed as Linc Dorado and Grand Metallique brought a fast-paced, high flying style into the Friday Night Smackdown match. There were quite a few pinfall attempts between the two teams before Heavy Machinery was able to eliminate the Lucha House Party.

The next opponents for Heavy Machinery were the six-time tag champions the Usos. The WWE Smackdown crowd was absolutely excited for the third match in the gauntlet. Both teams are crowd favorites.

Jimmy and Jey Uso came out and slowed the pace of the match. However, the match quickly ended when the Uso’s were rolled up and pinned by Tucker.

Out next on Friday Night Smackdown were the WWE tag champs Miz and John Morrison. Miz started the match with Tucker and the two wrestled back and forth. Miz tagged in Morrison and he worked on Tucker until Tucker laid on a heavy clothesline.

Tucker rolled up Miz to get the pin. After the match, Miz and Morrison beat down Heavy Machinery before their final match in the gauntlet.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Crowd Comes Alive

Heavy Machinery’s final opponents in the WWE Smackdown gauntlet are Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler and Roode come out to take advantage of the beat down that was delivered by Miz and Morrison after the last match.

Dolph tried to end the match against Tucker several times but was unable to. Nonetheless, he is confident that he and Robert Roode are going to get the win.

Otis gets up and the WWE Smackdown crowd comes alive. Otis is able to fight off Bobby Roode and get to his corner so that Tucker can make the tag.

Tucker is able to make the tag and Otis becomes legal. The action becomes fast and furious as Otis fights off both Roode and Ziggler.

Dolph Ziggler makes the tag and superkicks Otis for the win. This win means that Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode will be the last to enter the WWE Elimination Chamber tag team title match on Sunday.
