A Cloudflare outage has caused panic as it has shut down the Internet and cost many businesses money and views. So, what exactly is going on, and how long until everything is back to normal? Keep reading for more details on this crazy situation.

Cloudflare Outage Panic, Shuts Down Internet

A short time back, an outage caused all of the streaming services to go down. It was attributed to Google, and that meant that many core streamers were unavailable. Fans rushed over to Twitter/X to see if they were alone or if other consumers were going through the same thing. Fortunately, they had a community that made them feel much better about the situation, and that is what is currently happening all over the Internet. Many sites are experiencing a Cloudflare outage, and it has caused a massive panic. This will force views to go down and ultimately cost businesses a lot of money.

Fortunately, the problem has been noted, and there is help for consumers. They have identified the problem and are working hard to get this fixed in a timely manner:

“The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.”

That was as of 8:14 am EST. Interestingly enough, it was Twitter/X who first noticed a problem with Cloudflare. However, they are the place most users initially head to for all of the updates and information when anything goes wrong. It seemed like things were going in a positive direction, but many still cannot access certain sites. That is bad news for businesses who specifically use their sites to make money and connect with consumers on a daily basis. Many also make money from interactions on Twitter/X so any time lost is money down the drain.

Twitter is still down, sadly, and that will hurt many. Users have headed to whatever forums they can for answers and to see who else has been affected. They need a sense of community at this moment so they do not feel lost in the sauce. There is anger and uncertainty, which is completely understandable.

Will It End?

Cloudflare claims that they are working to get everything back to normal. However, it seems to be taking longer than many would like. Many are sitting and scratching their heads as they cannot do much as they sit and wait for this to be operational once again:

• The outage happened just after maintenance. What a coincidence.
• Multiple customer sites down. Showing an error at the cloudflare datacentre as opposed to the origin host which I’ve never seen before. Edit: sites appear back up. Portal throwing some issues still. Edit2 11:57 UK time: Back down again

Hopefully, this can be rectified sooner rather than later so businesses can continue to flourish and not sit on edge.
