Boxer Pup Rescues French Bulldog Having Seizure, Video
A Connecticut boxer pup rescued his French bulldog friend while he was struggling with a seizure. This was something that would appear as if the brothers were playing. Yet, the owners detailed exactly what was happening and how the boxer saved his buddy’s life. Keep reading for more details.
Boxer Pup Rescues French Bulldog Amid Seizure
Animals can serve many purposes, from K-9 to service pets, and just overall loving companions. Sometimes, they can even save their fellow furry friend’s life, which was the case with boxer pup, Reggie. He came into the family after Sarah McCardle and Craig Strilka’s other furry friend, Yogi, began suffering from seizures. The Milford, Connecticut, duo was nervous about bringing in another dog after what Yogi had been going through. He had been suffering since he was a year old, but Reggie helped to rejuvenate him and make him feel young again.
That was why they were the perfect match, but one day, Sarah and Craig were out of the house. When they returned, she saw that Yogi was in distress and saw from the camera footage they had that he had been seizing. It was noted that French bulldogs have little snouts, so this makes breathing in a crisis even harder. As Sarah shared of Reggie:
“He rolled him around so that he would get up and cough and not aspirate to get the fluid and stuff out and be able to clear his throat.”
The couple rushed Yogi to the vet, and he ended up being just fine, which was great. At the same time, they are well aware that without Reggie, it could have been a horrible outcome.

It is not lost on Sarah and Craig that, without their aware boxer, Yogi may not have made it. He did all he could to ensure that Yogi was breathing and safe, which garnered him a delicious steak dinner. As for followers of this story, they were moved by Reggie and his quick thinking.
A Doctor In A Past Life
Those who saw what the boxer had done for his French bulldog pal were overwhelmed with compassion and love. They even noted that Reggie was likely a doctor in his previous life. It is such a beautiful story of friendship, and how intuitive dogs really are:

Of course, some noted how French bulldogs have chronic problems and should no longer be bred. However, this story had a very happy ending.
