  1. Towels – You probably have a few nice towels that you use all the time and for some reason are keeping all the old ones around. Unless you use them to clean with or for the dogs, toss them. There is no reason to keep them around.
  2. Dishes – Your cabinets do not have to be full of dishes. Just keep the ones that you like to use and get rid of all of those free cups that you are hoarding along with other household items that are similar.
  3. Plastic Bags – Are you keeping a ton of these under your sinks? It doesn’t hurt to have maybe one bag full, but more than that is just a waste. These are something that you can easily get more of.
  4. Condiments from Restaurants – Is there really a reason to keep all those extra ketchup packets? No you don’t need them, you buy the big bottles anyway. Throw them away.
  5. Gift Wrap and Bows – You keep these around and plan to use them again, but do you really? No, they always look used and wrinkled and get thrown away instead.
  6. Old Cables – Are you really going to go search for a plugin for your phone from 1995? No you aren’t. If you do, you probably won’t even be able to find it and instead will just order a new one.
  7. Holiday Decorations – If you use it every year, then keep it and keep using it. If it goes back in the box each year, it is time to discard it.
