Disney Reveals A New Resort Is Coming
Disney made a huge announcement today, and a new resort is coming! It has been a while since they opened up a totally new one. So, where will this be, and what details are out about it?
New Disney Resort Details
Today it was revealed that a new resort is coming! This will be happening in Abu Dhabi. It will be a resort and theme park both. Disney CEO Bob Iger spoke out about this new project. Here is what he had to say:
“This is a thrilling moment for our company. (It will) will rise from this land in spectacular fashion, blending contemporary architecture with cutting-edge technology to offer guests deeply immersive entertainment experiences in unique and modern ways.
Disneyland Abu Dhabi will be authentically Disney and distinctly Emirati — an oasis of extraordinary Disney entertainment at this crossroads of the world that will bring to life our timeless characters and stories in many new ways and will become a source of joy and inspiration for the people of this vast region to enjoy for generations to come.”
So, when will this open? Well, it is going to be a while. They said it could take up to five years to build it. So far, Disney is not revealing an opening date, but just letting everyone know that they are getting started on it. This will have all new attractions and is one you don’t want to miss!
A lot of people haven’t been to Abu Dhabi, but it is a very popular vacation destination. If you have never been, when the new Disney resort opens might be the perfect time to check it out!
