According to the Redditor, they didn’t expect someone from the Duggar family bringing up such a topic. The comments section was also filled with people contradicting Jill’s poll, saying that the egg came first from an animal that wasn’t a chicken but later evolved.

  • “I can’t believe people still claim we don’t know what came first. It’s the egg. The egg came first. There you go.”
  • “The egg came first from an animal that was not a chicken, because evolution. For those who need the layman’s explanation.”
  • “I truly can’t understand why someone would think the chicken was first, makes no sense.”
  • “I’m concerned about the status of the pan…. dirty? seasoning for the eggs? something else??”
