Counting On alums Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar haven’t been active on social media since the CSAM arrest of their oldest son, Josh, in April 2021. Fans only see the married couple in some of their kids’ YouTube vlogs. Many people believe online hate is one of the main reasons why the two left the online world. Counting On: Will The Duggar Family Return To Reality Show?
TLC has yet to address the possibility of bringing the Duggar family back onto the small screen. The network parted ways with the family to give them time and privacy during Josh’s trials. But with Josh now in prison, many fans speculate if TLC will reconsider bringing several kids back for special episodes as they did with Counting On.
However, there are rumors that Jim Bob is already taking steps to make his family relevant again. One of them is making Jana return to social media after a 2-year hiatus. She also made headlines last month after seemingly showing signs that she’s engaged, which could blow up as a special episode if TLC ever decides to film with them again.
Jim Bob & Michelle Spotted Vacationing Without Kids?
Some Redditors discussed the recent sightings of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. According to the poster, they saw a Facebook post featuring the Counting On alums on a vacation in Clearwater Beach the other day. But what caught the attention of many was how the married couple went on a trip without the kids, which is a rare sight to see. However, several commenters pointed out that it’s nothing new due to Jim Bob and Michelle’s “buddy system,” in which they let the older kids take care of their younger siblings to lessen their responsibilities as parents.

Counting On: Jim Bob Duggar To Face More Issues Next Year?
Despite having fun behind cameras, some fans believe that the problems are not over for Jim Bob. Jinger previously revealed that she will release a new book next year titled “People Pleaser: Breaking Free from the Burden of Imaginary Expectations.” It will tell the story of her childhood to adulthood, including how the Counting On alum broke free from the need for approval, which may put her parents in question again. Jinger’s memoir will be released on January 14, 2025.
