An insider also revealed that the 57-year-old father is starting to come up with tough decisions to financially recover.

According to reports, Jim Bob and Michelle spent a lot of money on their son, Josh, during his trials. They were also helping Anna and her kids at the same time. An insider also claimed that they spent over $3.5 million. The father of 19 has yet to share updates about his daughter-in-law. Though there have been sightings of her at the Duggar compound. Anna was reportedly considering moving to Texas. But sources claimed that the convicted Duggar thinks it’s an unnecessary move.
Jim Bob Starting To Offload Properties?
An insider close to the Duggar family claimed that Jim Bob’s financial struggles are getting worse, which is why he decided to offload some of his properties. According to the source, the Counting On alum has sold multiple lands over the past two years, including five acres of land worth $46,000. The insider also claimed that the reality TV personality sold some of his cars, including a 2006 Dodge RM 3500 and a 1979 trailer. However, the claimant said it still wasn’t enough. Due to this, the Duggar parents began to trim their groceries and teach the kids to prefer hand-me-down clothes.
