Bringing Up Bates: Trace & Lydia Bates Are Living Their Best Lives With Ryker
Trace and Lydia can’t get enough of their first child, Ryker. They welcomed their first child on May 12, 2023. Since then, the Bringing Up Bates stars have shared adorable updates with their son. Recently, the loving parents shared a clip of the baby boy as they watched him wake up with a caption, “Going through all the emotions trying to wake up from his nap.” The married couple also took to social media to share a beautiful photo with Ryker as he celebrated his first Christmas Eve.
Trace Relishes 2023
In an Instagram post, Trace shared a clip recapping his 2023 with Lydia. One of the video’s main highlights was Lydia’s pregnancy and the day they welcomed Ryker. The Bringing Up Bates star also shared tons of clips from the clips and vacations they had last year. According to him, it’s their “best year yet.”

Trace Bates also received tons of positive comments from his IG followers, including his parents. Some of them congratulated him for his incredible year. Many are also hoping that he and Lydia will have a much better year this 2024.

Bringing Up Bates: What’s Next For Trace & Lydia Bates?
Trace and Lydia have yet to share their plans for 2024. But during one of their Q&As last year, Lydia revealed that she dreamed about having twins. It didn’t happen with Ryker. However, some fans think the two may try for more babies next year. Trace’s wife also had trouble processing her green card. But she made it clear that she still wanted to take her husband to Germany.
Trace has also been thriving in life. He used to work at his brother-in-law, Chad’s business, Paine Construction. In 2022, he launched his own construction business called Bates Construction in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he works alongside his brother, Warden. Meanwhile, Lydia is a model and photographer at Effortless Beauty, which is owned by her sister-in-law, Josie.
