90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort star Jovi Dufren got into trouble in the latest episode. He almost had a physical altercation with his co-star, Big Ed, after exposing him in front of Yara Zaya that they secretly went to a strip club. Things also got more intense when he sold the Louisiana native out for contacting one of the strippers and even involved his daughter, Mylah, in the conversation. However, it seems Big Ed is not the problem. According to some, Jovi has serious issues that need to be dealt with, and the show’s therapist may not help at all.
The Last Resort: Is Jovi Dufren’s Addiction Going Too Far?
Jovi debuted in 90 Day Fiance with alcohol issues. He also had fights with Yara regarding his love for strip clubs. But it seems that the 33-year-old hasn’t changed after all the years. 09 Day Fiance: The Last Resort showed that his alleged addictions remain within him, which has caused him and his wife to have problems trusting each other.
Many were also surprised by how he kept making excuses instead of sincerely changing for the better. In one of their past discussions, he revealed that he just wanted to give the boys a good time. He even walked out of his wife instead of talking things out. But during their latest yacht confrontation, Yara finally had enough and threw water at his face for texting a stripper.
Does Jovi Need More Help Than A Marriage Therapist?
The couples in 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort had sessions with a therapist who specializes in fixing broken marriages. However, some fans think Jovi Dufren needs much more than what the spinoff offers. According to some, he may need to seek help regarding his alleged addictions to alcohol and strip clubs. Others also pointed out that his behavior in the show may be related to alcohol abuse, and he may not actually be as horrible as he seems. There are also discussions that the TLC star should enter rehab to battle his demons.
The Last Resort: Will Jovi Dufren & Yara Zaya Work Things Out?
Despite their trust issues, Jovi and Yara are still trying hard to fix their marriage in 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort. There’s only one episode left in the spinoff in which the couples should decide whether to recommit or separate. But behind the cameras, the two are actually going strong and happy. They recently took to Instagram to share their Halloween costume with their daughter. They have also made numerous posts showing love for each other as well as creating funny content together.
