Match Me Abroad stars Harold Davis and Michaela are fan-favorites for season 1. They expressed interest in each other despite the language barrier and cultural differences. The final episode of the dating show also implies a positive future for the couple. However, the 41-year-old man has already announced on social media that they’re no longer together, though they’ve been good friends. It was also revealed that the Czech Republic native is recovering from cancer, which explains her social media absence. Until recently, the reality TV personality returned to Instagram amid her recovery.
Match Me Abroad: What Is Michaela’s Condition?
Harold previously revealed Michaela’s condition. According to the Match Me Abroad star, the woman from Prague is battling ovarian cancer, which has removed her ability to have kids. The artist with autism also added that the producers and their matchmaker weren’t aware of her condition until later in the filming.
He also said the show kindly cut off some scenes to keep the heartbreaking news from spreading. However, Michaela herself later opened up online regarding her chemotherapy sessions.

Michaela made an unexpected return on social media. She posted a photo of herself with flowers she harvested from their garden. The Match Me Abroad star didn’t say anything about her current condition. But the comments section was showered with comments wishing her a fast recovery.

Harold has been making efforts to help his Match Me Abroad partner. Recently, the TLC star gave a big update on Michaela. According to him, she’s still battling cancer and undergoes chemotherapy every 14 days. He also said that she has upcoming resonance tests and scans.
“Please continue to send positive energy and keep her in your prayers as will I. I will keep you updated to any changes,” the New Mexico native added. Harold Davis also promoted a fundraiser to help Michaela with her expenses.
