Sister Wives fans have been keeping their eyes close to the plural family lately. Apparently, Kody Brown and his wives are finally back in the spotlight after the first episode of Season 17 finally aired. However, it seems that Season 17 no longer features the wholesome lifestyle of the polygamous family. Instead, the storylines are filled with negativities and struggles. Some fans even think that the first episode is already eye-opening, which may not be a good sign for the plural family’s future.
Sister Wives is Already Raising Eyebrows
Sister Wives fans took Reddit to share their thoughts regarding the first episode of Season 17. According to some, it’s obvious that the first episode is already controversial. Aside from Janelle Brown testing positive for Covid-19, fans are furious about how Kody Brown’s discussion with Christine Brown went. Apparently, Kody and Christine weren’t able to have a good conversation as the two blame one another for their struggles.
“In his mind, he’s done nothing wrong women are all just manipulative children that he doesn’t have to put up with so he just goes to the person who will open the door,” one person said. “That’s actually incredible that this man has had multiple women kick him out and he’s done absolutely no self-reflection from it,” another person added.
Fans Are Upset Towards Kody
It’s clear that many are upset with Kody Brown. Sister Wives fans are already calling him out as well after the first episode. According to some, it’s clear that Kody has no plans of restoring his relationships with the other wives. Instead, he’s been focusing more on Robyn Brown and her children. Meanwhile, fans are glad that Christine is finally speaking up against Kody. Others are hoping that Christine will inspire the other wives to live their best lives even without his presence.
Christine Brown’s Revelation Shocks Fans
Christine also shocked the fans in one of her revelations during the first episode of Season 17. Apparently, she revealed that she was working nights during one of her pregnancies while she also taking care of the other kids. However, she still ends up getting mistreated by Kody Brown.
“She was homeschooling some of the kids, pregnant AND working NIGHTS? and Kody called her lazy and being a poor sister wife???” one person said.
“Even worse, he referred to Christine wanting care for her kids, as being greedy and wanting more than her fair share,” another person added.
It’s clear to see that Season 17 is going to be a mind-blowing and controversial season. Will Kody still come up with a solution to end their struggles?
