Sister Wives fans took Reddit to discuss the big changes in Kody Brown’s parenting throughout the years. According to some, Kody was once joyful and full of positivity when it came to his kids. However, his ways of parenting dramatically changed in recent years. “Despite everything, I think he used to be someone who cared about his kids, but this past season was like watching an entirely different person. It almost doesn’t make sense, as if there is more to the story than what we’ve been told,” one person said.
Others agree and said Kody has been struggling on showing sincere love to his kids for years, especially when it comes to the adults. “He likes kids when they’re small and give him lots of attention, but puts in hardly any effort to get to know his kids as they get older,” another person added.

Sister Wives fans also think that Kody’s questionable parenting has been fueling the other kids’ desire to step away from the plural family. One of them is Paedon Brown, who’s been shading Kody and Robyn Brown’s unfair relationship. It’s also reported that Gabriel Brown and Garrison Brown are still not on good terms with their father. Kody also raised a lot of eyebrows when he decided not to go to Ysabel Brown’s back surgery in New Jersey. Since then, Ysabel has never talked about her father. However, Christine made it clear that Ysabel was hurt by Kody’s decision.
