Counting On star Amy Duggar has been showing her frustration towards the Duggar family lately. Apparently, Amy is upset after Michelle Duggar released a letter pleading for leniency for Josh Duggar. Fans are also questioning Michelle’s letter as it kept pointing out how good of a person Josh is without acknowledging any of the victims. Now, Amy is back to share another update for the fans. However, this time, Amy is teasing everyone that she plans to write a letter against Josh.
Counting On: Amy Duggar Planning To Write A Letter Against Josh?
In a social media post, Counting On star Amy Duggar teased the fans after announcing her plans to write a letter similar to what Michelle Duggar did. “Judge Brooks you’ll be receiving a letter from me very soon,” Amy said. At this point, Amy has yet to share what is the content and purpose of her letter. However, fans believe that her goal is to make it harder for Josh Duggar to defend himself. Due to this, fans can expect that the letter will expose the dark secrets of Josh and the Duggar family.
Amy Calls Out The Duggar Family’s Religion
Aside from teasing a letter, Counting On star Amy Duggar also took to social media to call out the Duggar family’s religion, IBLP. According to Amy, the IBLP has done some twisted teachings over the years. “The IBLP teaches you that emotions besides being happy isn’t allowed so you are taught at a very young age to ignore how you are actually feeling,” Amy said. “They are not taught how to regulate emotions at all. So they turn into happy (on the outside) shiny robots,” she added.
Moments later, fans took to Amy’s comment section to agree with her statements and point out the odd behavior of some of the Duggars, especially Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Some also think that it played a huge role to enable Josh’s immoral behavior. “Josh is responsible for his behavior as an adult. Having said that, everything he has done is 100% rooted in the IBLP doctrine and the manner in which he was raised,” another person added.
Counting On: Jim Bob & Michelle Remain Silent Amid Amy’s Statements
At this point, Counting On stars Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar have yet to share their comments regarding Amy Duggar’s recent statements. However, Amy has been estranged from the family for years. Due to this, fans can expect no comments from the Duggar family when it comes to Amy. Meanwhile, fans continue to side with Amy and hope that she will release the letter soon. Some also think that not everyone in the family is in favor of what Michelle Duggar did to help defend Josh Duggar’s case.
It’s clear to see that things are not looking good in the Duggar family. Many also believe that Michelle’s recent actions made things worse not just for Josh, but for the reputation of the family.
