In a social media post, Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar revealed that her son, Gideon, is going to therapy. Joy-Anna shared the video of Gideon’s therapy on YouTube. According to Joy-Anna, Gideon has been struggling with speaking. She also said that he’s been struggling with numbers as well. Apparently, Gideon is starting to grow and Joy-Anna believes that his lack of language skills doesn’t fit right for his age. Gideon also did well in his therapy and was recommended to focus more on receptive language.
Fans React To Gideon’s Speech Therapy
Counting On fans also shared their thoughts regarding Joy-Anna Duggar’s decision to send Gideon to speech therapy. Apparently, many are happy that Joy-Anna is concerned about her son’s language skills and immediately took action. Some also praised Gideon for trying his best to pass the tests. However, some felt sad about Gideon’s situation. “Those poor kids. Yes, at least she’s getting him help, but any progress he might make will be “one step forward, two steps back” kind of thing because of their religion/lifestyle choices,” one person said. Others agree and said that Gideon deserves a much better education instead of the Duggar family’s traditional homeschooling.

Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar also took social media to share a wholesome picture of Gideon. “Hey Gideon, smile,” Joy-Anna captioned. Gideon also captured the heart of the fans. Some even took Joy-Anna’s comment section to talk about how adorable Gideon is. “Such a cutie. He is getting so big,” one fan said. “What a gorgeous boy. I know everyone says he looks like Austin but I think he looks like you in this picture,” another fan added.
