In a social media post, Counting On star Jill Duggar shared pictures from Israel’s character day at school where he dressed up as Oklahoma State University’s mascot, Pistol Pete. “Go Pokes! It’s book character day today at school and Israel is following in the steps of grandpa & dad by dressing up as Oklahoma State University’s mascot #pistolpete,” Jill captioned. “Complete with a white handkerchief like @derickdillard used to wear,” she added. It’s clear to see that Jill and Derick Dillard are trying their best to keep their kids happy. Apparently, Jill suffered a miscarriage this month. However, it didn’t stop Jill from making unforgettable memories with her family.
Jill Shares A Throwback Picture From Derick’s Homecoming
Aside from sharing Israel’s costume, Counting On star Jill Duggar also shared a throwback picture from Derick Dillard’s homecoming 5 years ago where he dressed up as Pistol Pete. Jill also shared another throwback picture of Derick’s Pistol Pete costume back in 2009. It’s clear to see how big of a fan Derick is when it comes to Pistol Pete. Jill also said that she’s already expecting her little kids to continue the legacy of their father’s favorite character and costume to wear.

Counting On fans have been praising Jill Duggar for her efforts to keep her family happy even before her heartbreaking miscarriage. At one point, Jill traveled to Oregon with her family where they did so many unforgettable activities. Jill also loves to spend time with her kids indoors. Most of the time, Jill and her kids read books. Jill also revealed that they love to craft different things during their free time. Fans are also amazed by how Sam and Israel love gardening. At one point, Jill shared how excited her kids are when helping her in her mini garden.
