Apparently, the Duggars are known for their gatherings and huge parties whenever someone is celebrating a birthday. However, it seems that Joy-Anna no longer wants that kind of treatment from the family. Instead, she wants to make it as simple as possible. However, Joy-Anna also has another reason why she celebrated her birthday in the simplest way, and it’s apparently related to her kids.

In a social media post, Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar shared clips from her birthday celebration. However, instead of holding a party, Joy-Anna spent her time with her kids indoors. Joy-Anna also said that her kids don’t feel good, which is why she decided to stay with them instead of doing heavy activities. “My kiddos got the stomach bug so we’re just spending the day at home. Organizing, drinking coffee, & watching hallmarks,” Joy-Anna said. Moments later, Joy-Anna shared that she did a quick workout while the kids are taking a nap.
Joy-Anna & Kids Still Manage To Go Out
After sharing how she celebrated her birthday, Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar revealed that her kids felt better, which is why they still managed to go out during the afternoon. Gideon also expressed his excitement by greeting his mother with a happy birthday while laughing out loud. Apparently, Joy-Anna drove her kids to their favorite snack store. There’s no presence of Austin Forsyth during the clip. However, fans think that he’s busy working on his housing projects.

Despite her simple birthday celebration, Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar was showered with positivity on social media. Apparently, families and friends of Joy-Anna greeted her in the sweetest ways. Meanwhile, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar remained silent during Joy-Anna’s birthday, which is unusual for the fans as the two usually send sweet birthday messages to their kids. However, fans think that Jim Bob and Michelle are shying away from social media due to the controversies caused by Josh Duggar’s arrest.
Nevertheless, it’s clear to see that Joy-Anna enjoyed her birthday. Despite the simple celebration, Joy-Anna still showed that Gideon and Evelyn are enough to make her happy.
