Authorities continue to search for missing Brian Laundrie. He is wanted as a person of interest in the death of travel blogger Gabby Petito. Until now, law enforcement had not pressed any charges on Laundrie. Today, the Denver FBI released documents indicating a federal arrest warrant has been issued for Brian Christopher Laundrie. What have they charged him with?
Wyoming courts issue a federal arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie
A federal arrest warrant has been officially issued for Brian Christopher Laundrie pursuant to a Federal Grand Jury indictment. The charges are involving Laundrie’s activity following Gabby Petito’s death.
The indictment indicates Laundrie was using a Capital One debit card that he was unauthorized to do so. The dates of use listed on the formal charges is on or around August 30 to on or around September 1. It was also noted he used a personal pin number that he was not at liberty to use. The total cost of funds used was approximately $1,000.
Along with the arrest warrant, the Denver FBI issued a statement regarding Laundrie and the new charges.

The statement read, that the U.S. District Court of Wyoming issued a federal arrest warrant in response to an indictment involving the “Use of Unauthorized Access Devices.” The charge is in relation to Laundrie’s activities following Gabby’s death.
The statement continues, “While this warrant allows law enforcement to arrest Mr. Laundrie, the FBI and our partners across the country continue to investigate the facts and circumstances of Ms. Petito’s homicide.”
The FBI urged anyone with information regarding what happened to Gabby or knowledge of where Brian Laundrie may be to contact law enforcement. They said no piece of information is too small and could help with finding Laundrie.
They also continue to seek information from anyone who may have been camping at the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping area between August 27 and August 30.

Laundrie’s whereabouts remain a mystery
The search for Brian Laundrie continues. Dive teams have been searching the Carlton Nature Reserve where his family claims he went last Tuesday.
Laundrie’s Mustang which was seized from his residence on Monday has now been returned home. His mother drove it home followed by law enforcement.
Once there, his parents drove away once again in their pickup.
Tips keep rolling in on possible sightings of Laundrie. One happens to be in Canada. No word if authorities are investigating the tip or not.
