Counting On stars Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo have been busy promoting their book lately. According to reports, the two want to shy away from the controversy of the family, especially on Josh Duggar’s arrest. However, Jinger still opened up about some of her rough past in their latest book. One of which includes what she did when Josh’s molestation scandal broke in public news. According to Jinger, she felt like she was living in a nightmare when the news broke out.
Counting On: Jinger Duggar Opens Up About Her Experience When Josh’s Scandal Broke
In one of the chapters of their latest book, Counting On star Jinger Duggar opened up about her “nightmare” experience when Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal broke. “My brain hadn’t quite caught up to the reality of what had happened in a few short hours”, Jinger said. “Intimate details about our lives were splashed across a magazine page and all over the Internet for anyone and everyone to read. I felt shell-shocked as if a bomb had exploded”, she added.
After that, Jinger wrote a quick summary of what happened. According to Jinger, one of her siblings made some sinful choices years ago. She said that it was awful, but they dealt with it as a family. Apparently, Jinger was talking about the molestation scandal of Josh. Jinger also said that the family sought the Lord and took the necessary steps to move toward healing. However, things went rough when everything came out to the public. “The old wound was open again, raw, painful”, Jinger said.
Jinger Said She Tried To Escape In The Middle Of The Night
Counting On star Jinger Duggar shared one of her unforgettable experiences when Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal broke. According to her, paparazzi had camped outside the family’s home. Later that night, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar told the family to pack up and head to the family bus. According to Jinger, Jim Bob told them that they’re getting away for a while until all the issues died down. Jinger also said that they went to a place with a huge land to run outside without anyone seeing them. “It would be the perfect place to escape the cameras without being cooped up inside for the foreseeable future”, Jinger added. After that, Jinger explained her fleeing experience as, “An Israelite fleeing Egypt under the cover of darkness.”
Counting On: Jinger Holding A Live Book Singing With The Fans
In a social media post, Counting On star Jinger Duggar shared a 12-minute video announcing a special event. According to Jinger, she’s going to hold a live book singing with the fans. Jinger has been very thankful for all the positive feedbacks from her book. It also appears that they sold a lot of copies on the first week of the book’s release. Aside from that, Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo also showed their dedication by recording an audiobook version of their latest book.
