On Friday, March 12, a report by Page Six claimed that Jennifer and her fiance Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement. At the time, the Hustlers star dropped everything and jumped on a video call to comfort her daughter. Jennifer shared the screenshot on her Instagram Story.

The photo shows her Facetiming her ex-husband, while their teen daughter rests her head on his shoulder and holding his hand.

The “In The Morning” singer made time for family. Amid her headline-making relationship and ever-growing beauty brand, Jennifer Lopez had a meeting with Marc Anthony and their daughter, Emme. She posted the rare family photo to her Instagram Story.

“When they are sad but momma and daddy are there #Coconuts,” Jennifer wrote in the snapshot. “I Love You!! So Proud of You…”

But the actress didn’t reveal why her teenage daughter was upset. Regardless, fans were happy to see the former couple on good terms and supporting their daughter. Jennifer and Marc were married for 10 years and also share a son – Emme’s twin brother, Max.

This photo was posted just hours before news broke that she split from the former MLB star. Jennifer and A-Rod got engaged in March 2019. But they reportedly called off their engagement after postponing their wedding plans twice amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Cheating rumors swirled as soon as the news spread on social media.

Despite the rumors, Jennifer and Alex packed on the PDA last week in the Dominican Republic, where she’s currently filming the romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding. He posted a photo of himself on a boat on Instagram along with the caption: “Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie… What are your plans for the weekend?” The image showed the former athlete wearing a white polo with navy-blue shorts.
