Prince William and Kate Middleton adopted a new puppy. This comes amid the death of their beloved dog, Lupo. Their furry friend was part of their family for nine years. But he passed away in November 2020.
Leading up to the death of Lupo, the couple adopted a new puppy, who is now 8 months old. Kate’s brother, James Middleton, confirmed the news. While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t share any photos of the black cocker spaniel, the pet has brought a lot of joy to their family. It has since brought love and smiles to the couple and their three children.
Kate’s brother confirms the happy news
Prince William and Kate Middleton have expanded their family with a new fur baby. Kate’s younger brother, James Middleton, has since confirmed the news. A friend of the family spilled the beans to The Mail on Sunday, which first reported the news. Their new pet came at just the right time.
“The new puppy is adorable and the whole family is besotted,” the friend told the British outlet. “They were devastated when Lupo passed away. It was hoped that a younger dog would give Lupo some company and give him a little more life and energy.”
In May 2020, James announced that his dog Luna, Lupo’s sister, welcomed “six healthy little pups.” James couldn’t give the puppies to himself. Instead, he gave them away to “lovely homes” who were “waiting for them.” On November 22, 2020, Kate and William shared the sad news of Lupo’s death.
“Very sadly last weekend our dear dog, Lupo, passed away,” they wrote on social media with a photo of their adorable dog. “He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years and we will miss him so much.”
Also, Kate’s brother shared an emotional tribute to the late canine. Kate and William welcomed Lupo into their family in 2012. He joined the family just a year before the birth of their first son, Prince George. The royal couple adopted the dog to help them as William traveled to the Falkland Island for a six-week-long deployment.
Kate Middleton and Prince William have a new place to work
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a new place to work. Kate Middleton and Prince William will use this space while homeschooling George and Charlotte. This secret new space takes place at Queen Elizabeth’s nearby Sandringham home. According to People, it will be used for video calls.
This arrangement occurred when Kate was at Sandringham for a talk with nurses earlier this week. William focused on their children’s lessons as Kate worked. However, that arrangement was reversed on Thursday when William made a series of calls to medical teams around England. William wanted to thank the frontline workers from the vaccination sites for their efforts and dedication to delivering the COVID-19 vaccine.
