Brandi Glanville has been paying attention to The Masked Singer this year, especially The Sun. The Season 4 winner was revealed to be LeAnn Rimes under the sun costume. Glanville has predicted Rimes was the voice underneath the sun costume. In October she tweeted, “I think the sun is 100 percent LeAnn Rimes #maskedsinger.”
She went on to say, “although my kids say no way because she told them that she would never do this show because its sooo beneath her.” Fans suspected she tweeted that line to throw shade. Rimes current husband Eddie Cibrian, previously was married to Brandi. Rumors swirled he cheated on Brandi with LeAnn and the story made headlines for quite some time.
Brandi Glanville Doesn’t Mind Throwing Shade Occasionally
Brandi Glanville and Eddie co-parent their sons Mason, 17 and Jake, 13. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star isn’t above throwing shade to anyone. Ahead of the finale, Brandi tweeted, “hope my kids bonus mom The Sun LeAnn [Rimes] wins the masked singer tonight #Spitfire.”
Brandi said in a previous interview, “I don’t know how we did it, all three of us, LeAnn, Eddie and myself. We — that’s a big thing for me to say, we. We have amazing children, Mason’s 6’4,” he’s 16, gorgeous. Jake’s gorgeous and he knows it! But they’re so smart, they’re kind, they’re good people.”
Fans Weren’t Sure How Brandi Really Felt
There were cryptic messages to follow those tweets. In one she said, “I want to say it, but I won’t because I’m on NyQuil with a sore throat …it’s not over until the masked lady sings.” This tweet, however, left fans unsured how she felt about her win. Fans dragged her for saying it was LeAnn before the show came on. One said, “you called it night 1!! I agreed w you the whole time! And I don’t get how they say you ruined it . It was your guess.”
Rimes told Entertainment Tonight no one knew about the show. She said, “Eddie was the only person who knew. Eddie and my manager. The kids did not know.” She said she told them at dinner. LeAnn said Jake told her he lost a bet with his mom over it.
Brandi addressed those saying she was throwing shade. Glanville tweeted, “First of all I did not shade or diss lean (sic) rimes I rooted for her to win. She clearly told my kids that she’d never do the show to keep things a secret because they have big mouths. She deserved to win I’m glad she won!” One fan responded if she meant that, she’d spell her name right.
