The Lakers recently made a shocking deal by signing this year’s Sixth Man of The Year, Montrezl Harrell. However, the Lakers also have let go of their key players such as Dwight Howard, Rajon Rondo, and JaVale McGee. Now, the Lakers are looking to add new players to replace the three. There are reports stating that they’re looking forward to obtaining a rising star from the Atlanta Hawks.

NBA analysts suggested a trade option that would benefit both the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks Hawks. The Lakers will have to send Kyle Kuzma, Talen Horton-Tucker, and a 2022 1st round pick to the Hawks, while the Hawks give John Collins to the Lakers. It’s no secret that the Hawks are building their team around Trae Young. The Hawks have yet to sign Collins in a long-term deal, which could give him the pathway to joining the Lakers. Collins is one of the best young scorers today. He’s a dominant big man and very reliable in pick-and-roll situations.
