Thor: Love and Thunder was announced during Comic-Con International: San Diego 2019. It was said to be a part of MCU’s Phase 4. There’s not a lot of information about the upcoming film besides the fact that Jane Foster who is played by Natalie Portman will return.
Until recently, a fan shared a video of what seems to be a possible addition to the casts of Thor: Love and Thunder. During the final moments in Avengers: Endgame, Thor decided to leave his role as the King of Asgard to join the Guardians of The Galaxy to their space adventures. Now, it seems that Thor’s new family will be making their appearance in his own movie.
Thor: Love and Thunder: Vin Diesel’s Groot Might Appear In The Film
In a social media post, a fan shared a video of Vin Diesel coming out from a private jet. He can also be seen being shielded by umbrellas as he walks. Diesel is known for his role as Groot in Guardians of The Galaxy. At one point, Diesel accidentally shared a major piece of information about Thor: Love and Thunder.
According to him, the next Thor movie will incorporate some members of Guardians of The Galaxy. He later then said, “Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”
Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord Will Also Be In The Film
There are numerous reports stating that Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord will be joining Thor in his fourth movie. The two made a lot of fans laugh during Avengers: Endgame because of their humorous hatred against each other.
At one point, the other Guardians requested the two to fight for the position of captain of the spaceship. Star-Lord can also be seen numerous times copying Thor’s posture and voice.
Thor: Love and Thunder Might Be Chris Hemsworth’s Final Appearance In The MCU
Avengers: Endgame retired three of the biggest stars in the MCU, such as Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Robert Downey, Jr. Fortunately, fans will still be able to see Johansson one last time on her upcoming film, Black Widow. At this point in time, there’s no confirmation about the return of Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye. However, he’s most likely going to retire and live with his family as seen in Avengers: Endgame.
Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk can no longer fight as well after receiving a heavy injury from snapping Iron Man’s version of Infinity Gauntlet. This led to the fans thinking that Chris Hemsworth might be the next to retire his role. Thor has been around in the MCU for quite some time now.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on February 11, 2022.
