Adele hosted SNL (Saturday Night Live) this week, stealing the show with her 100-lb weight loss. As soon as she stepped on the stage, she stunned the fans with her unbelievable transformation.
Adele usually leaves people in awe with a song but it wasn’t her voice that caused jaws to drop this week. Although she did belt out a few tunes that managed to take your breath away.
No, Adele is now 100-lbs lighter. She also shared with the SNL audience that she’s half the woman she once was – in size of course.

One thing Adele fans probably noticed once they closed those jaws, is that she seems to have newfound confidence as well. Sure, Adele has always had confidence, she has to as she sings in front of thousands. But there was something different as Adele debuted her weight loss on SNL.
She seemed to have such self-assurance. Fans who followed Adele from the beginning of her career can remember an almost shyness about her at times. But on SNL she did her skits holding that head up high. And… she was funny to boot.
Saturday Night Live: Adele Does ‘The Bachelor’ Spoof
Adele fans probably had a hard time following her skits. That’s only because she is half her size today and you just couldn’t take your eyes off her. She did a few skits on this week’s SNL along with her hosting gig. Below, she’s playing the role of an unlikable The Bachelor contestant who isn’t getting a rose.
She played herself, Adele, but as a contestant on The Bachelor. The singer irritated the other contestants. Because she just wouldn’t take “go away” for an answer and… she broke into song every time she talked to the guy playing the role of The Bachelor. She was really funny in this skit.
SNL: Fortune Teller Fail
On Saturday Night Live Adele does a skit where she sits in with a group of people with a psychic who is not very psychic. She’s quite the actress as well as a singer. Adele can bring tears to your eyes when belting out a love song.
Below is the first look the SNL fans got of Adele. She walked out on stage when introduced as this week’s host. Fans were amazed at her transformation. This before and after photo shows just how much Adele has changed.
For an advertising skit, Adele attempted to entice people to Africa. But Adele couldn’t keep a straight face during this SNL role. She tried to be serious, like the role called for, but she broke out in laughter while saying some sultry lines.
Adele’s outfit and hair are part of an SNL costume. But you can still see the amount of weight she dropped even with all that distracting big hair and swirling colors.
