5 Ways To Keep From Getting Scammed On PayPal

There are so many ways that you can get scammed nowadays, and PayPal is one of them. This site is easier to get scammed on them some others. Right now, they are saying that Paypal scams are up, and you should be on alert to make sure it doesn’t happen to you. Here are five ways to keep from getting scammed on PayPal.
- Any emails from PayPal will come from @paypal.com. If there is anything else in the email address, then it is not really from them and could be a scam. Don’t click on any emails you get, either. Actually, go to the site and log in, then you can get help with the issues if you have any.
- Check your account regularly and make sure nothing is coming out of it that you didn’t approve. If there is an issue, contact PayPal directly to get it taken care of.
- Make sure you turn on two-factor authentication. This will make it harder for anyone to hack into your account. It will also make it harder to get in yourself, but it will be worth it.
- Don’t fill out surveys that are sent to you offering something that looks like they are from PayPal. The site doesn’t normally send these out. Scammers do send them out all the time, though. This is so they can get into your account.
- Report anything that has happened that might be suspicious right away. You might be able to get your money back if you don’t wait to report it. This also gives PayPal a heads-up for other people about scams that are going around.
