5 Things That Cost You A Fortune And You Don’t Realize
Are you over budget all the time? Can’t figure out where your money is going? Here are five things that are costing you a fortune and you don’t even realize it. These are probably what has you over your budget each month.
- Coffee and Eating Out – If you run through your favorite coffee place once a day that can cost you around $8. Add to it eating out for lunch and/or dinner, and you have already spent close to $50 that day! This can easily put you over budget. It can be hard, but learn to make your favorite drinks at home and cook meals at home. Take your lunch to work with you as you can. Leftovers are great for this!
- Pets – We all love our pets, but they are expensive! Think about shots, food, grooming and everything you spend on your animals. Now, I am not saying get rid of them, but I am saying to think about getting more before you do it!
- Nails and Hair – Do you always have to look your best? Well, if you go and get your nails and hair done all the time this could be killing your budget. Consider doing it yourself or not going as often. A pedicure, manicure and getting your eyebrows waxed every month can easily put you over your normal expenses.
- Streaming Services – Are you using all of the streaming services that you pay for? You could easily go over what you mean to spend on these. Try to cut it back to just Netflix or Hulu and get rid of all of the smaller ones you spend money on each month.
- New Clothes All The Time – If you are buying new clothes all the time, you can easily go over your budget. Find a few staples like black pants, dress shoes and add to them. Don’t buy a new romper for work every month and instead borrow something or wear an outfit you have worn before once again! Dig through that closet and find things you forgot you even have.
