Bringing Up Bates stars Trace and Lydia Bates have been documenting their rainbow baby journey over the past few weeks. The two suffered from a miscarriage in February 2024. However, they remained strong in their faith and were eventually blessed with another child. Lydia assures her fans she’s taking extra steps to keep her child healthy. Bringing Up Bates: Lydia Bates’ Heartbreaking Miscarriage
Lydia took to YouTube last year to talk about her devastating loss. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she was sent to the ER on February 12, 2024, after experiencing painful cramps and bleeding. After a few days at the hospital, the doctors told the married couple that the child was no longer alive. Everyone was devastated, including Lydia’s and Trace’s families.

Lydia bawled while she shared the heartbreaking story, adding that they were so excited for their second child. They even renovated their house to make space for their baby and have already come up with names. But despite what happened, Lydia and Trace prayed in front of the camera, assuring fans that they’d stay strong.
Trace’s Wife Lydia Shares Scary News About Pregnancy
In an IG Stories post, Lydia Bates shared a photo of her latest ultrasound. However, things are slightly different this time, as the Bringing Up Bates star opens up about her recent struggles. According to Lydia, it’s been an insane week for her, adding that she’s had a rough 24 hours from Monday to Tuesday. Lydia didn’t exactly share what happened. But it seems she’s suffering from pregnancy cramps again. But she clarified that she’s now feeling better. She continued, “Just been resting and taking it slow. We had an ultrasound and got to see baby girl.”

Lydia has been working out during her pregnancy, which may have contributed to her recent pains. Trace also revealed that his wife is suffering from a certain skin condition, where she feels burning pain whenever her skin makes contact with any type of liquid, including her sweat. But it seems she hasn’t been experiencing the symptoms due to her frequent appearances at the gym.
Bringing Up Bates: What Is Lydia Bates Up To Today?
Aside from working out, Lydia Bates has also been putting extra effort into caring for her son, Ryker. She recently uploaded a clip featuring a day in her life. But many were left in awe when the Bringing Up Bates star shared her morning routine with her son. She spends almost the whole day playing with Ryker after working out in the morning. Lydia also revealed that Ryler loves being carried and watching the snow outside with his parents.
