Bringing Up Bates stars Gil and Kelly Jo Bates are back with new updates amid the family’s busy holidays. Most of their kids have uploaded photos and clips from their Christmas preparations. Bringing Up Bates: Gil & Kelly Jo Bates’ Holidays
Gil and Kelly Jo have been visiting their grandchildren for the past few weeks before Christmas. Last week, Kelly Jo shared adorable clips and pictures with some of her granddaughters dressed up as princesses. The Bringing Up Bates star added, “The thought occurred to me, if I’m gonna be babysitting, why not invite some more grandkids and have a princess party?!” Kelly Jo and Gil never forget to bring their kids to Mama Jane and Papa Bill’s farm. Their visit has also become more frequent this year due to their health conditions.
Gil & Kelly Jo Celebrate New Milestone
Kelly Jo recently took to Instagram to share pictures with her husband as they celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, they spent their special day at a quiet house and snuggled up for some movies. She also said that Michaela Bates made them lasagna and hot chocolate, giving them quality time next to a cozy fireplace.
Kelly Jo also revealed that they passed up on some activities with the kids and decided to have quality time with Gil. She continued, “So I passed on all the fanfare & opted for just a simple, relaxed night at home with home cooking and nothing on our schedules to do except enjoy each other! We’re living our best lives!”
Bringing Up Bates: Kelly Jo Bates Had A Huge Year
Aside from their anniversary, Kelly Jo also made headlines after sharing that she received a brand-new SUV from her daughter, Katie Bates, as an early Christmas present. The Bringing Up Bates star couldn’t believe someone would’ve considered giving her an expensive vehicle. She added, “This was certainly a super huge gesture, & one that I will absolutely never, ever forget! And I’m so very thankful to Katie & Travis for such a generous gift!”
