Below Deck Chef Ben Robinson recently shared a major life update. Ben confirmed on his Instagram on September 16 that he and his fiancé Kiara Cabral are no longer to be married.
Chef Ben Robinson Shares Big News
Ben Robinson took to Instagram Monday to share that he has ended his engagement with his fiancé Kiara Cabral. Ben said “Hey guys, I hope everyone’s had a wonderful summer. I have missed being in touch with you, but I’m finally able to share my adventures. You will understand, it’s been difficult. I am no longer getting married…” Ben further explained that this was the right decision for him and Cara.
Ben continued his Instagram post to say that he and Cara “have decided to go our separate ways, and I think that this is the best decision for both of us,” he continued. “I would rather not discuss the reasons behind these decisions, but I feel it’s important for me to express my circumstance.”

The Proposal
Ben Robinson and Kiara Cabral had a whirlwind romance. Ben said “We actually started dating just before the pandemic, and she moved in with me. We started living and working together, we were absolutely inseparable, and it felt right. In fact, over the last four years we have spent less than 20 days apart.”
Chef Ben Robinson and Kiara Cabral have been together for four years. Ben popped the big question while the couple was a trip to Italy. Ben nearly left the ring in the couples home in Florida on the way to Italy. Ben was able to save the day and get the ring in time to propose in Vatican Square. Ben managed quite the surprise when he proposed to Kiara. Ben said “She had no clue when I dropped my knees in Vatican Square that I would be proposing.”
Ben confirmed in an Instagram post that the couple was engaged. In his post he said “After a wonderful 4 year relationship with my love Kiara I decided to take the next step and propose. I feel like the luckiest man alive!”
Ben Was Ready To Be a Dad
In an interview in 2021 Ben Robinson stated that he could see himself and Kiara Cabral having children together. Ben said in an interview with US “If I’m going to do it, I may as well do it now. My brother’s going through [fatherhood] right now. He has an approaching 1-year-old. It’s not easy but it could be a beautiful thing. So we’ll see. I’m definitely open to it. I haven’t quite got my head round [that] and [I’m so] bloody busy, but we’ll see. I know it’s going to come with great joy and also at the same time a lot of problems and a lot of stress. I think it’s probably like anything in life relativity.” It seems like the plans for fatherhood may have to be put on hold now that the engagement with Kiara is off.
