My 600-lb Life star Christina Phillips became one of the most inspiring stars of the series. She didn’t let the odds stop her from losing weight, even if she didn’t have the support of her family and her husband, whom she eventually divorced. The reality TV personality has also kept in touch with the fans since Season 2 came to a close. Here’s what she’s been up to since her massive success.
My 600-lb Life: Christina Phillips’ Inspirational Story
Christina is easily one of the most inspirational stars in My 600-lb Life. She had nobody on her side during her journey. Her former husband, Zach, even tried to stop her from losing weight, seemingly wanting her to stay reliant on him.
Furthermore, the TLC star also suffered from ailments, including hypertension. She was bedridden for so long and has suffered mental problems. But despite all the triumphs, she made it through and is now one of the most successful stars in the franchise. She has lost over 500 pounds and is currently weighing around 185 pounds.
Christina Is Expecting A Baby Girl
Christina Phillips also took to Instagram earlier in June to announce that she’s expecting a baby girl who’s going to be her third child. The My 600-lb Life star has also been living happily with her new partner, Shane. She’s been posting stunning photos of herself, showing off her nose piercings.
The Season 2 cast member has yet to share her current job. She practiced as an RN from 2001–2013 and an FNP from 2009–2015. Though it seems she has put most of her time into taking care of her kids in recent years.
My 600-lb Life: Who Is Christina Phillips’ New Partner?
My 600-lb Life fans are happy that Christina found a new significant other after divorcing Zach. There’s not a lot of information about boyfriend Shane. Though she has already expressed her happiness at how supportive he is of her body goals.
There’s also confusion as to whether Shane is the father of Ethan. Unfortunately for the fans, it seems that Christina Phillips’ boyfriend prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
My 600-lb Life finished its 11th season in March 2023. The network has yet to announce a renewal. But some fans assume that they will continue with the pattern of releasing new seasons every January or February.
