Counting On: Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard Release Statement Regarding TLC’s Cancellation Of The Show
In a social media post, Counting On star Jill Duggar announced that they released a statement regarding the TLC’s cancellation of the show. Apparently, Jill released their statement on their official website. According to Jill, they were a bit late from releasing a statement as they learned the news a little late as well. Jill also revealed that a friend and her cousin were the only ones who told them about the news. After that, Jill shared her thoughts about TLC’s cancellation of Counting On.
According to Jill, it’s been 4 years since they stepped away from the show. “Although we were initially barred from sharing our decision to leave the show, we have opened up a little more recently on our social media,” she added. Jill also said that they had so many great memories with the network including its crew members. However, Jill said that the pressure and unexpected challenges forced them to step away from the show.
“The pursuit of freedom and authenticity has been a growing theme in our lives. Our story is still being written, and this event is just one more step forward toward that goal,” Jill said. “Our family’s departure from 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On has allowed us to make our own decisions, including the ability to have a choice in what we share,” she added. After that, Jill said that they will continue to move forward on their own terms.
Fans Praised Jill & Derick For Being Matured
After releasing their statement, Counting On fans took Jill Duggar’s recent post to praise them for their matured approach to TLC’s decision. “Just want to say how mature your statement was…proud of your growth, and how you’ve trusted in the road ahead,” one fan said. “Classy lady and clear statement,” another fan added. Meanwhile, some suggested that Jill and Derick Dillard should write a book about themselves and the Duggar family. Apparently, Jill and Derick became an inspiration to many due to their bravery in standing up for themselves. Fans also wanted to hear more about the Duggar family from Jill and Derick as they seem to understand how things seemed unfair during their time in the show.
Counting On: Jill Duggar Shares How They Celebrated Independence Day
In a social media post, Counting On star Jill Duggar shared how they celebrated Independence Day. Jill and her family spent most of the day outside lighting up fireworks. “We are so grateful to God for His blessings on our country & all those who have made America the country that it is today + fought to defend our freedom!” Jill captioned. Several members of the Duggar family also took social media to share how they celebrated Independence Day. One of them is Joy-Anna Duggar, who also went outside for the entire day with her kids to watch fireworks.
