Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman suffered a scary fall during their game against the Houston Rockets. This makes the Warriors’ season even worse as Wiseman is one of their best centers. At this point, the Warriors have yet to reveal Wiseman’s status. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry has been putting up big numbers to keep his team alive. However, NBA analysts think that the Warriors’ season may not go as expected due to the struggling players in the team.
NBA: Warriors’ James Wiseman Leaves The Game With Possible Knee Injury
Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman hit the floor hard during the second quarter in their game against the Houston Rockets. Wiseman was apparently trying for a slam dunk. However, he ended up tripping, which resulted in an awkward fall. After that, Wiseman started twisting and screaming in pain. He later stood and walked it off. However, he had to leave the game to get himself checked. At this point, there are still no updates regarding Wiseman’s injury. However, fans are worried that it might be a Knee injury, which could badly affect Wiseman’s game. Despite being a rookie, Wiseman has been a very effective player in the Warriors. He’s also the tallest one so far and losing him is not a good sign for the team.
Stephen Curry Kept Pushing The Team
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been putting on a show lately. However, despite his big performances, the team is still struggling. Apparently, Curry’s backcourt partner, Klay Thompson, had to rest for the entire season due to his torn ACL. Curry managed to score 32 points in their recent game against the Washington Wizards. Unfortunately, they lost the game in a winning shot by Bradley Beal. Curry also had 41 points in their close win against the Milwaukee Bucks. Meanwhile, Curry has been avoiding his tailbone contusion getting worse by wearing a butt pad during their games.
NBA: Will The Warriors Survive The Playoffs?
The Golden State Warriors are on the verge of missing the playoffs this year. However, they still have a chance of reaching the last spot as long as they win back-to-back games. However, reaching the playoffs is not the only challenge for the Warriors. Apparently, there’s a lot of well-established teams that the Warriors will have to face. One of which is the Brooklyn Nets, led by Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. The defending champions, Los Angeles Lakers, are also still looking forward to defending their title, especially now that Anthony Davis is set to return in just a few weeks.
The Golden State Warriors will face the Denver Nuggets on April 13, 2021.
