Sister Wives star Kody Brown was recently seen celebrating Christmas Eve with all of his four wives. Kody’s daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, shared several photos of Kody and his wives talking to each other. The Brown family didn’t have a lot of activities during Christmas Eve. Christine Brown even opened up recently on why she didn’t buy gifts for the kids this Christmas. There are reports stating that Kody has been struggling financially. Now, it appears that Christine is struggling with money as well.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Opens Up On Why She Didn’t Buy Gifts This Christmas
During a social media live stream for a cooking tutorial, Sister Wives star Christine Brown revealed that she didn’t buy gifts for the kids this Christmas. According to her, “This year I’m like, you know what, we’re going to do memories and that’s what it’s coming down to.” She also said, “I’m just so over presents so I did not buy a lot this year. Memories, a trip somewhere, that kind of a thing. Because it just gets old, you know.” Christine’s revelation of her skipping out of buying gifts this Christmas comes amid their financial struggles. Apparently, Kody Brown’s Coyote Pass Project hadn’t even started yet. This made a lot of fans think that they’ve been struggling financially.
Kody’s Financial Struggles
According to the Arizona court, Sister Wives star Kody Brown missed paying the first half of his property taxes. There are reports stating that Kody currently owes $2,654.76 in property taxes. Christine Brown even said last season, “Financially, we’re drowning.” Christine also revealed that she needed to earn $50,000 for the downpayment of her daughter Ysabel’s back surgery. Ysabel’s back surgery last October went successful. She was recently seen taking a book from her school before heading to the mall. Meanwhile, a clerk from the Arizona Assessor’s Office revealed that Kody also bought an extra land next to Robyn’s house. Fans think that this is also one of the reasons why Kody has been struggling financially.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Starts Selling More Stuff Online
Sister Wives star Christine Brown has been busy hustling on social media. She often sells items from Robyn Brown’s canceled jewelry line. Fans think that Christine and Robyn are trying to help Kody pay his debts. Meanwhile, Meri Brown has been busy with her bed and breakfast business in Utah. She’s been away with her co-wives for a long time. Fans thought that Meri is having issues with Kody and her co-wives especially when she didn’t attend their couch session on their last episode. However, all of them gathered on Christmas Eve, showing no signs of dispute.
