The Avengers: Endgame is clearly one of the best movies ever created in today’s generation. It’s currently the top 1 in the biggest box office hits of all time. Sadly, most of the original members of the Avengers team won’t be seen in the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, fans are expecting the same hype in phase 4 of the MCU. Apparently, Robert Downey, Jr.’s Iron Man, already hinted at the next possible villain in phase 4 during Avengers: Endgame.
Iron Man Expected A Bigger Threat Than Thanos
During a scene in Avengers: Endgame, the team successfully brought back all the life that Thanos erased. Tony Stark created their own infinity gauntlet and puts all the infinity stones that they collected from time traveling. After Hulk’s snap, Thanos and his entire army managed to enter their timeline. The entire Avengers HQ got destroyed by Thanos’ spaceship. After that, the confused Captain America asked Tony what happened. Tony answered with “you mess with time, it tends to mess back”, seemingly pointing out that he already expected such consequences. Tony’s ability to unlock time-travel also opened up a lot of opportunities for bigger events. One of which is the possible arrival of the time-traveling supervillain, Kang The Conqueror.
Who Is Kang The Conqueror?
Kang is a genius conquerer who travels to different worlds by using his time machine. Kang’s real name is Nathaniel Richards, who’s apparently an ancestor of Reed Richards and Sue Storm. Due to this, fans can also expect not just the arrival of Kang, but also the Fantastic 4. Kang’s arrival in the MCU might be the consequence of the Avenger’s attempt to mess with time. Thanos’ snap during the Avengers: Infinity War might have also caught the attention of Kang. In the comics, Dr. Doom and Kang teamed up to try and steal the infinity gauntlet from Magus. Kang was also seen multiple times in the comics eager to obtain overwhelming powers. At this point in time, Marvel has yet to reveal if Kang is going to be the next supervillain in the MCU.
Robert Downey, Jr. Puts On The Infinity Gauntlet Once Again
In a social media post, Robert Downey, Jr. wore the infinity gauntlet once again but this time, it’s for a charity event. According to Robert, the rock band Metallica will be hosting a live charity event that can be watched online. The show will include rare acoustic performances from Metallica. The event will be held in Northern California. Fortunately, all fans can watch online by paying for a very cheap ticket, which will be donated for charity.
