‘Jay & Pamela’ Why Isn’t It On Tonight, 8/25?
Jay & Pamela have swept the TLC nation, as viewers have become fascinated with the couple and how they operate. So, why is the hit show not on this evening, August 25th, and what is on in its place? Kee reading for more details on the status of the TLC series.
Jay & Pamela Have Had An Exciting Season 2
Viewers watched as Jay Manuel and Pamela Chavez finally tied the knot and jumped into newlywed life. There have been a lot of challenges, given that Jay is transgender and having a family down the line could be hard. Although that is what Jay would like, Pamela is not so sure. Along with biological issues, Pamela knows that she cannot safely carry a baby, as she has osteogenesis imperfecta type 3. This is something that was tackled in Season 2 of Jay & Pamela, with Jay remaining hopeful that they can have a baby down the line.
There are other issues, as Pamela would like to see what it is like to experience pregnancy. However, she knows that likely won’t happen. Additionally, Jay is admitted to the hospital, and he is stressed over what his wife and family are dealing with. Unfortunately, there were only eight episodes ordered for Season 2, and fans will have to see if another season is ordered.
The hope is that Jay & Pamela will return because they are so much fun and truly love life. So, what is on in their place? A new season of 1000-Lb Roomies will air instead, which is thrilling for those who love to follow the adventures of Jaz and Nesha. It was unknown if they would get a Season 2, but hold on because they are back.
A Fair Trade?
Although viewers love watching Jay & Pamela, are Jaz and Nesha a fair trade? It seems like this could be a good switch after eight weeks of the couple and a different type of comedic relief. After the trailer for 1000-Lb Roomies dropped, fans weighed in, and they were over-the-moon excited:
- LOVED them. Glad TLC gave them a second season
- I’m so glad they listened and gave them another season. I loved their energy on screen and they were mad funny, too.
