Amy Duggar King has exposed her grandfather in her memoir. This was shocking for fans to hear, as most knew nothing about any of this. Amy revealed that her father was abusive towards her mother. One day, she was getting beaten because she let him know that she wanted to move in with her boyfriend. This got pretty physical, and Jim Bob Duggar had to step in to help. However, Amy revealed that Jim Bob saved her mother’s life without even realizing it. This was shocking for fans to find out. However, they liked that Amy opened up in that way about it all.

Jill Duggar has revealed that she was stunned by the abuse claims. This is something she had no idea about. She revealed her husband told her all of it.
He was like, ‘Did you know this, that or the other about Grandpa Duggar? And I was like, ‘No, tell me more,’ And it was so weird because he’s like, ‘I’m literally telling you more about your grandpa than you knew.’ We learned more about our family history than we knew. We had inklings of things, but even just your family and everything you went through.
This was shocking for her to find out. However, she liked that she found everything out and was able to see some of the truth about her family.
