What Are The Hottest States For 2025?

It is still spring, but in less than a month, summer 2025 will be upon us. So, which states will be the hottest this year? Moreover, are there any that you would have guessed? It all starts with Florida, as they are notorious for up and down temperatures all year long. It can start off cool in the morning, then move to scorching hot, followed by an epic rainstorm. The average temp is 73, but in July, it can be above 90, even nearing 100. Hawaii is up next with an average of around 70 degrees. The coldest it will be is around 68, and it will stay just below 100.

Louisiana has an average of 67 degrees during the year, but in the summer, it is in the low 90s. However, it is the strong humidity that makes it feel oppressive. Texas has an average temp of 65, but August is a killer, reaching over 100 degrees. Georgia is relatively nice as it keeps an average of the mid-sixties, but summer can make you sweat. In the northern area, it gets to 82 or below, but the rest of the state can see 100 degrees. Georgia is actually tied with Mississippi for weather, but in the winter, it can freeze.

Following these two for 2025 is Alabama with a yearly average of 63. They do see snow, only about an inch, but a massive amount of rain. Next up is South Carolina with an average temp of 63, and then there is a tie between Arkansas and Arizona. It is around 61 degrees as an average for the year, but in Arizona, the temps can reach up to 100, which is scorching. It is a tad shocking that places like Nevada and California did not make this list.

Scary Times

One of the scariest things about excessive temperatures in 2025 is the threat of wildfires. This has been a huge issue in California, but it has not subsided. As of now, Minnesota and the mid-Atlantic are already getting some of this, which is shocking. It looks like the fires do not discriminate, and everyone needs to be cautious. Hopefully, there is enough awareness to keep people safe from harm.

Are you shocked by the states that made the list for 2025, or not so much? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
