Healthy Ways To Enjoy Fast Food

What are some of the healthiest ways to enjoy fast food? For years, it has been noted that fast food is not healthy. More so, people complain that it is quick and easy, but not good for the body. Yet, there are ways to make it a low-calorie option. Keep reading to see how to do that.

Healthy Ways To Enjoy Fast Food

Fast food has taken over the world for many years as it is a quick and easy option for people on the go. Unfortunately, it is not always healthy, and that can be a deterrent to health-conscious consumers. However, there are ways to indulge in all foods, and here’s how. A woman named Amber has lost 160 pounds, but she still likes to eat out. She shows her followers what she used to eat when she was heavier and how she has changed her fast food orders now that she has slimmed down.

At Taco Bell, which seems to be a big guilty pleasure, she gets a zero-sugar Baja Blast as opposed to another soft drink. Then, she adds two Doritos Locos chicken supreme tacos, which come with grilled chicken over beef. To lower the caloric intake, opt out of sour cream and tomatoes; then she adds a side of chips and cheese. Amber does this because she prefers volume, and this more than provides it. Keep in mind, she is also a weight loss coach, so she wants people to know that they can indulge and lose weight.

What about when heading to Dunkin Donuts? Can someone enjoy that and stay on track with their weight goals? They sure can. She talks about getting three munchkins (her choice was pumpkin at the time). For a drink, she gets an almond spice iced coffee with almond milk rather than cream or regular milk. That means 2 pumps of sweetened syrup plus 2 pumps of an unsweetened syrup, depending on how sweet you like your drinks. There are also no additional sugar packets put in the coffee, making it 340 calories.

‘Moderation Not Deprivation’

For Amber, she believes in “moderation not deprivation.” People should still be able to eat what they want, but at a healthier rate. Finally, what about Chipotle? That’s often a quick favorite, and she opts for a bowl with half white rice. Then, she adds chicken, fajita veggies, Pico de Gallo, half a serving of sour cream, cheese, and extra lettuce. It ends up being 420 calories, 42 grams of protein, 32 grams of carbs, and 22 grams of fat. This is great for those who are living a healthy, high-protein diet. She also adds that it keeps her satisfied for a long time, which is really what people want. Followers have praised Amber’s skills and orders:

  • I love this!! I’ve saved so many of your fast food hacks. So helpful. ❤️
  • Okay I love this! It is key for me to have my meal “last longer” because otherwise I don’t feel like I ate 😅

Hopefully, this can help you eat out and enjoy it, plus feel healthy, all at the same time. Is this something you need in your life? Let us know in the comments below.
