Bringing Up Bates: Mama Jane & Papa Bill’s Worrying Condition
Mama Jane and Papa Bill have been making many people worry due to their health. Last March, Alyssa flew to South Carolina to help Mama Jane and Papa Bill after feeling a bit sick. The Bringing Up Bates star cleaned their house and prepared meals for them. She made sure that her grandparents were feeling well before she left. Aside from that, many fans have also noticed how the Bates children are seemingly taking turns visiting Mama Jane and Papa Bill. Their visits became more frequent when Papa Bill began to show signs of dementia. Carlin even shared an emotional vlog in which she had to introduce herself again after Papa Bill forgot who she was.
Mama Jane & Papa Bill Affected By Hurricane Helene?

- “Please pray for my brothers who are stuck on the mountains of Asheville and Waynesville. Prayers for all affected by this horrific disaster.”
- “We are traveling cross country and have been to and through many of the affected areas. This has been such a devastating storm, so thankful your family is safe and doing what they can to help those in need!”
- “Glad to hear all your family is safe. We were in Tennessee last week and every place we went to was affected by the hurricane. Praying for all families and all the responders.”
- “Thank you for the update! I’ve had you and the family in my prayers. Praying for those who are impacted by this storm.”
Bringing Up Bates: Mediccorps Remain Suspicously Silent
Some Reddit users recently called out Mediccorps for staying silent amid the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Mediccorps was founded by Nathan Bates and John-David Duggar. Many members from both families are part of the organization. However, many people have doubted their operations as they don’t seem to appear in the most critical situations. They haven’t posted anything since saying they were responding to Hurricane Helene four days ago.
- “If they don’t show up for a disaster right in their own backyard that really should seal their reputation as cosplaying fraudsters.”
- “Medicorps in East TN/Western NC? The absolute devastation I’m seeing in the region is sobering, which begs the question- do we think Medicorps is activated in the area? I haven’t seen any posts related to it, but know cell coverage has been all but nonexistent.”
- “They used the hashtag Florida in their post. They posted it 4 days ago and said they’d give updates, but they haven’t.”
- “I’m betting they stay out of it as the US aid relief organizations will not play around, no one’s going to let them take over a hanger and fuel supplies. They’d be expected to actually contribute not easy Chick-fil-A on their asses”
