90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort had an unusual concept that quickly caught the attention of many. The show’s main goal was to bring struggling couples from past seasons to an island for a marriage retreat. A lot of things have happened throughout the season, including Angela Deem having a heated exchange with her co-stars and Jovi Dufren almost having a physical interaction with Big Ed. There were also some mind-blowing reveals, such as Asuelu Pulaa’s cheating scandal and Kalani Faagata’s relationship with her “hall pass” guy named Dallas.
According to reports, the latest spinoff became TLC’s number one non-sports telecast on primetime cable television. It also became the network’s top three TV shows below 90 Day Fiance Season 10 and Sister Wives Season 18, with an audience reaching up to 1,304,000.
Will There Be A Season Two?
With the massive success of 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort, some fans believe that it may get a second season as early as possible. The season finale of 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort featured a lot of couples recommitting to their marriage. Some of them include Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi. The 57-year-old woman even tore her divorce papers to prove her commitment. Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren also vowed to work on their marriage and be more open to each other. Big Ed and Liz were able to fix their problems as well and even planned their wedding upon leaving the spinoff. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out for Kalani and Asuelu. Pulaa even described it as the worst day of his life. However, they promised each other to remain friends and in touch for the sake of their kids.
