Kody and Janelle had one of the worst fights they ever had in the third episode of Season 18. The two argued about loyalty and effort for the family. But many viewers were upset by how the patriarch didn’t give his now ex-wife a chance to explain her side. Instead, he told her to “tell the world” about what she thinks about him and how he handles the family.
The mother of six wasn’t able to hold herself back and cursed at him by the end of their heated exchange. But this wasn’t the last time Kody caught attention with his behavior. Recently, some fans discussed his “scary” conversation with his brother-in-law.
Kody’s Scary Conversation With His Brother-In-Law
Sister Wives fans from Reddit shared their thoughts on Kody’s chat with his brother-in-law during the latest episode of Season 18. According to some, the way he frequently uses “violent rhetoric” and his interest in violent thoughts about women are truly horrifying. Others also pointed out how he admitted to being in a “dark place” when he used to visit a website about “women-hating forums.”
- “Terrifying. Even if he never acts on those urges, my husband would NEVER say I have dark thoughts I can’t share with anyone. I’m scaring myself with them,” the poster said.
- “He needs a therapist. Not a camera crew,” another person added.
Meanwhile, some commenters expressed their disbelief regarding his claims about a man being viewed as more powerful when he has more wives, married or not.
Sister Wives: Where Is Kody Brown Today?
Kody has been quiet about his life behind the cameras. However, he’s been spotted multiple times making efforts for his children. Aside from Savanah’s graduation in May, he was also spotted attending in Gwendlyn’s wedding in June. He even participated in Logan’s wedding last year, though things got controversial when he didn’t sit next to Janelle despite their son’s wedding.
Kody Brown has also gone on expensive trips with Robyn Brown this year. In February, he and his fourth wife were seen walking around a mall in Las Vegas. Additionally, photos of him hustling at gun shows have circulated online. He has yet to build anything in Coyote Pass as well. Though reports claimed that he and Janelle paid off lots of land earlier this year.
