It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Jill Dillard as people called her out for disrespecting her parents. Some fans are upset by the book she’s about to release as well as her participation in the explosive documentary about the Duggars. But despite all the negativity, the mother of three continues to live her best life. She even took to Instagram recently to share her big role at a recent festival in Stillwell.
Counting On: Jill Dillard Continues To Promote Book
Jill promotes her book almost every day on Instagram. It’s clear that she’s proud of her work and doesn’t mind all the criticism surrounding her. According to the 32-year-old reality TV star, Counting The Cost will be released on September 12, 2023. Some fans also find it odd that the book’s release is one day before Michelle Duggar’s birthday.
Counting On fans are hoping that she will continue to improve her relationship with the family instead of stepping away from them. The release date of the book has fans questioning her motives, the day before mom, Michelle’s Birthday. But Jill has clarified she loves her mother so in the end it is all just a coincidence.
Jill Shares Participation In Stillwell Festivities
Stillwell, Oklahoma, recently celebrated its annual Strawberry Festival. Jill and her family participated in the big event. The Counting On star also revealed that she was given a major responsibility in one of the activities. According to Mrs. Dillard, she helped judge a pageant. She also shared that her husband, Derick, ran the 5K marathon. On top of that, the family of five enjoyed the treats that the ceremony offered, such as Indian tacos and strawberry cheesecake. “And of course we came home with lots of berries!” Jill added.
Counting On: Jill Dillard Shares Major Updates On Kids’ Swimming Lessons
Jill also took to social media recently to share exciting updates regarding her sons’ swimming lessons. According to the mother of three, Israel has moved up from “pro 2” to “swim force,” while Sam leveled up from “gilder 1” to “glider 2.” Mrs. Dillard also uploaded an adorable photo of Derick teaching Frederick how to swim. Additionally, Jill expressed how proud she is of what her sons have already achieved. “It’s so relieving to know they have learned such valuable water safety skills!” she added.
It’s also noticeable that Jill no longer shows the faces of her kids online, which is similar to what her sister, Jinger, did to her daughters. Nevertheless, some of Jill’s social media followers are still supporting her decision to give privacy to her kids.
