Counting On fans from Reddit shared their thoughts on a surprising chapter in Jinger Duggar’s latest book, Becoming Free Indeed. In the chapter, Jinger opened up about her early struggles with Jeremy Vuolo. According to Jinger, she struggled on getting to know Jeremy due to having chaperones on their side. Jinger also said that they weren’t able to have discussions that only a couple should have due to the presence of her siblings. Fortunately, things worked out for the two, and fans believe that the strict rules of the Duggars forced Jinger and Jeremy to move to Los Angeles.
Jinger Struggled With Herself
Counting On star Jinger Duggar also opened up about struggling with herself in Becoming Fee Indeed. According to Jinger, she had a hard time expressing her opinions toward Jeremy Vuolo during the first year of their marriage. Jinger also said that she was taught to be a submissive wife and that she must “perform” for her husband. It’s clear that Jinger is trying to point out another questionable ideology of the IBLP. Meanwhile, fans are glad that Jinger has finally found the courage to be herself, making her marriage with Jeremy much healthier.
Counting On: Jinger Duggar Never Wanted To Have Many Kids
Jinger Duggar also revealed that she never wanted to have many kids. Apparently, the IBLP encourages married couples to have as many kids as they can. But it seems that Jinger came to a realization early on. She even revealed that she wasn’t passionate about kids back in the day. Although Jinger is not fond of babysitting for an entire day, fans believe that she’s been an amazing parent to Evangeline and Felicity.
It’s clear to see that Jinger is one of the most successful daughters of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar today.
