In a social media post, Counting On star Jinger Duggar shared a lengthy message talking about the true purpose of her book, Becoming Free Indeed. According to Jinger, some people may see that book as enlightenment about stepping away from religion. “A religious girl raised to always wear skirts and never kiss boys became an atheist or agnostic and now believes the Bible is nothing more than a collection of fairy tales. Sorry to disappoint you. That’s not my story,” she added.
Jinger later said that her faith has been strong ever since and it will never change. “Not because Christianity tells me the right way to live or unlocks some “key to success” but because I can find no one more compelling, more lovely, more hopeful than Jesus,” she added. It’s clear that Jinger only wants people to be aware that there will be some religions that no longer focus on Jesus and the bible. Fans also love how Jinger carefully delivered her message without harming any people.

Many are also proud of what she did, especially since it may affect her relationship with the Duggar family in Arkansas for a long time. Some fans also suggest that Jinger’s next book should focus more on her life in Los Angeles and how she was able to keep her faith strong. Many are also hoping that Jinger will also release more children’s books similar to her most recent one, You Can Shine So Bright!
